Honestly, who can say no to over 130 performances in Grant Park, right in the middle of gorgeous summertime Chi Town.
This year they are celebrating 25 years since the first festival started by Perry Farrell – lead of 90’s rock band Jane’s Addiction. It was actually the first big performance for Lady Gaga in 2007 – before she was well-known – that helped rocket her to stardom. She came back three years later to perform as an internationally known singer. Who knows, you might catch the next huge pop star making their stage debut.
FYF Fest – Los Angeles, California
August 27th & 28th
What originally started as a rebellion to the large format festivals in 2004 has now grown into a huge park filling festival. This year’s line-up promises some of the biggest acts around. The backdrop of downtown Los Angeles’ often forgotten skyline is always a nice touch for the event.
